Course Objective
The Certificate in English Language (Level 1) aims to build a strong foundation in English for learners aged 15 and above. The course focuses on the four key skills — Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing — through real-world, communicative tasks. It supports learners in developing confidence to use English effectively in daily life, academic contexts, and workplace situations.

8. Entry Requirements
- Minimum Age: 15 years and above
- Language Requirement: No prior English language background required
- Alternative Entry: Applicants who do not meet the above may sit for a placement test to determine suitable entry level.
9. Graduation Requirements
To be awarded the Certificate in English Language (Level 1), students must:
- Obtain an overall passing grade of 50% or higher
- Maintain a minimum attendance of 75%
