Course Objective
The Certificate in English Language (Level 2) equips learners with intermediate English proficiency, enabling them to function confidently in academic, workplace, and real-world communication scenarios. This level supports critical thinking, independent language use, and fluency through contextualized tasks. It aligns with language expectations in further education and professional environments.

Lessons are conducted on campus at Edvantage Institute (Singapore).
8. Entry Requirements
- Minimum Age: 15 years and above
- Language Requirement: Applicants must demonstrate a minimum English proficiency through one of the following:
- Pass in English Language at Local Secondary 2 (or equivalent); or
- Pass in English Language at International Year 8 Level (or equivalent), or
- Placement test score – A pass at the Intermediate level
- Academic Requirement: Applicants must have completed secondary education (or its equivalent)
9. Graduation Requirements
To be awarded the Certificate in English Language (Level 2), students must:
- Pass the overall grading
- Keep attendance above 90% (for Student’s Pass Holders)
- Keep attendance above 75% (for non-Student’s Pass Holders)
