Course Objective
The Certificate in English Language (Level 3) course supports Upper-Intermediate learners in mastering academic, professional, and public communication. It meets the growing demand for English fluency in global workplaces and higher education by sharpening advanced literacy, critical reasoning, presentation, and structured writing skills.

Lessons are conducted on campus at Edvantage Institute (Singapore).
8. Entry Requirements
- Minimum Age: 16 years and above
- Language Requirement: Applicants must demonstrate a minimum English proficiency through one of the following:
- Pass in English Language at Local Secondary 4 (or equivalent); or
- Pass in English Language at International Year 10 Level (or equivalent), or
- Placement test score – A pass at the Upper-Intermediate level
- Academic Requirement: Applicants must have completed a pre-university programme (e.g. A-levels, IB Diploma, or equivalent)
9. Graduation Requirements
To be awarded the Certificate in English Language (Level 3), students must:
- Pass the overall grading
- Keep attendance above 90% (for Student’s Pass Holders)
- Keep attendance above 75% (for non-Student’s Pass Holders)
